Medium avocado/half a large avocado (150 grams)

1 medium tomato

Half a squeezed lemon or by taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon Easy Whey (15 grams)

Mode

Peel and mash avocado in a medium bowl with a fork until smooth. Finely chop the tomato. Add the tomato to the bowl along with a tablespoon of olive oil, half a squeezed lemon, and salt to taste. Add a dollop of Easy Way. Mix well and taste to adjust seasoning.

Without the tomato. Blend the spread thoroughly using an immersion blender or food processor until completely smooth.
In the spoon-tilt test, the spread should fall off the spoon while maintaining its shape, leaving a thin coating on the spoon.
At this texture level, the spread will spread only very slightly on a flat plate.

IDDSI Level 5
Score an X on the bottom of the tomato. Blanch the tomato in boiling water for about one minute, then immediately transfer it to a bowl of ice water.
After this, the tomato skin will peel off easily.
Cut the tomato in half and remove the core (seeds).
Finely chop the tomato into pieces no larger than 4 mm wide and 15 mm long (for adult consumption), or 2 mm wide and 8 mm long (for children).

Ensure that each piece of tomato can be easily mashed between the fingers before adding it to the spread.
